The 22nd of February (22/02) is the European Equal Pay Day. There are many factors these days that try to promote equality. Pay transparency is getting popular and it helps reducing pay gap.
Some sectors only have less than 5% difference in salaries of both genders. This is the case of IT positions, which is in fact the sector with a higher median of women salaries.
However, the job is not done and men in managerial positions still 40% more than women managers.
