Average salary and normalized salary index by role in Europe

Some weeks ago, we published the average annual salaries of 5 positions in 10 European cities. Now we are presenting these salaries normalized by the cost of living in each city.

We can see that some cities that offer low salaries are offering quite high salaries once they are normalized. :chart_with_upwards_trend: This happens mainly for product managers in Madrid and Warsaw, quality assurance managers in Barcelona, and data scientists in Madrid.

On the other hand, even if software developers and DevOps engineers have high salaries in Amsterdam, these salaries and not that attractive when they are normalized. :chart_with_downwards_trend: This happens because the cost of living in the Netherlands is really high.
